Senior Social Worker - Children in Care
Location: Sand Martin House, Bittern Way, Peterborough
Pay Rate: £40 - £43 per hour (Umbrella)
Working Pattern: 2-3 days in the office, remainder remote
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children in Care team in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of children in care, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Develop and implement care plans in line with statutory requirements.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to achieve positive outcomes.
Provide guidance and support to less experienced social workers.Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
Proven experience within Children in Care or Looked After Children teams.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
