Special Needs Assistant - Harrow (Primary School ARP Unit)
Full-time | Term Time Only | 8:15am - 3:40pm
Start: January 2026 until July 2026(possibly extended)
Salary: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)

Sanza Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow seeking a dedicated Special Needs Assistant to join their team.
You will be based in the school's Additional Resource Provision (ARP), supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs - including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD - helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop both socially and academically.
The Role:
Supporting pupils with individualised learning plans in a small, nurturing environment
Encouraging communication, independence and positive behaviour
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted support
Adapting activities and approaches to meet varied needs
Assisting with transitions between the ARP and mainstream classrooms
The School is Looking For:
Someone flexible, adaptable, and patient, with a genuine passion for inclusion
Experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, or other additional needs (school or community settings welcome)
A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
