Job Description

Job Title: Female Support Worker / Carer (Elderly Care)

Location:Belfast (BT14)
Salary: £13.73 PAYE
Hours: 8 hours (16:00–24:00)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Female Support Worker / Carer to assist an elderly individual with COPD and a broken T11 vertebra. The role involves providing personal care, supporting mobility, and ensuring the individual’s safety and well-being as they recover.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Assist with personal care and daily activities (e.g. dressing, feeding, mobility support).

  * Help with back brace management (remove when sleeping) and mobility using a walker.

  * Monitor health, administer medication, and assist with dentures.

  * Prevent falls and maintain a safe, supportive environment.

  * Foster independence and communicate effectively with the individual.

Requirements:

  * At least 6 months recent care experience.

  * Female candidate required to meet specific needs.

  * PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) training (or willing to complete).

  * Experience with elderly or mobility-impaired individuals preferred
