An excellent independent secondary school in South West London is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Chemistry to join their thriving science department from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students with a love of chemistry while working in a supportive and well-resourced academic environment. The Role

  * 

    Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level.

    Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that support excellent academic outcomes.

    Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and enrichment activities.

    Support students’ academic and personal development within a strong pastoral framework.

The Ideal Candidate

  * 

    Holds a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject.

    Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  * 

    Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.

  * 

    Has experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level (including A-Level experience desirable).

  *
