Teaching Assistant – KS2 Classroom

Location: Accrington
 Contract: Full-time - Term time only 
 Start Date: January 2026

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team in a Key Stage 2 classroom.

What you’ll do:

Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning.
Provide one-to-one and small group interventions.
Help create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
Assist with classroom management and preparation of resources.
What we’re looking for:

Experience working with children (preferably in KS2).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
