Job Description

Our client is an established high-end UK manufacturer and contractor within the curtain walling, architectural glazing and window facades sector, and are recruiting for a Graduate / Trainee Quantity Surveyor to work alongside, support and learn from an experienced QS and site management team. Full training will be provided, both from their North Somerset office and on-site.

Location: North Somerset - Bristol/Bath area close to Bristol Airport
Package: £28k-£31k basic + annual company bonus and 22 days holiday

The Successful Applicant - Trainee Quantity Surveyor:

  * You will have a construction degree, preferably in quantity surveying but other construction degrees with transferable skills will be considered

  * This is trainee role and my client is looking for someone they can mould, train and develop into a stand-alone QS role

  * You may already have some experience working as a trainee QS, or you could be a straight grad looking to start your career

  * You will also be structured and well organised in your approach, with an eye for detail

The Role – Trainee Quantity Surveyor:

  * This is a trainee role where you work alongside, support and learn from an experienced QS and site management team

  * Full training will be provided, both on-site and from their North Somerset office

  * You will get to be involved with projects from the design stage, and be mostly involved in valuations of works, making sure budgets don't get out of control, labour management and the payment process

  * My client is looking for someone that will progress within the business and train up to move onto your own project
