Transport Planner – Chesterfield – Temporary 
 
 Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a long standing and trusted manufacturing organisation who are currently looking to recruit Transport Planner to join their friendly team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is a service led organisation who strives to put the customer at the centre of everything they do.

 Responsibilities of the Transport Planner:

Plan, schedule and optimise daily transport routes
Coordinate drivers, vehicles and delivery schedules
Monitor live operations and respond to delays or issues
Maintain accurate records and system updates
Communicate clearly with internal teams, customers, and external partners
Ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements
 Required experience:
  
Experience in transport planning, logistics, or operations (essential/desirable)
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
confident using transport planning or logistics software
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexible, reliable, and quick to learn
