Key Responsibilities
Provide targeted reading support to children with mild SEN needs
Plan and deliver engaging literacy sessions tailored to individual learning levels
Use a variety of strategies to support phonics, comprehension, and reading fluency
Encourage confidence and enjoyment in reading
Provide feedback on pupil progress where required
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with children, ideally with SEN or additional learning needs
Background in education, tutoring, teaching, or youth work is desirable
Strong knowledge of early literacy and reading development
Patient, supportive, and enthusiastic about helping children succeed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
