Pay: £92.63 – £100 per day (dependent on experience, paid weekly)

We are currently working with a range of welcoming Welsh-medium primary schools across Cardiff who are looking for enthusiastic, unqualified Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants. Opportunities are available on a full-time, part-time, and flexible basis, allowing you to find work that fits around your schedule.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a Welsh-speaking environment. You will play a key role in helping to create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom experience for pupils.
Your Responsibilities
• Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons through the Welsh language
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils
• Assisting with literacy and numeracy development
• Preparing classroom materials and resources
• Encouraging positive behaviour and active participation
• Supporting pupils’ confidence, wellbeing, and independence
• Assisting with general classroom organisation and supervision
What We’re Looking For
• Confident Welsh speaker (spoken essential, written desirable)
• A genuine passion for working with children
• Friendly, patient, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and follow guidance from teaching staff
• Previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
• Availability for full-time, part-time, or flexible work
