Position Summary
Reporting to the Asset Planning and Workshop Manager, the Workshop EH&S Compliance & Improvement Coordinator is based at the Engineering Workshop in Worcester, with a focus on Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) activities that drive compliance, consistency, and continuous improvement across workshop operations. The role supports the UK & Ireland territory as part of a small team of up to four, with no direct reports.
Principal Accountabilities

Develop, update, and maintain risk assessments for workshop activities, equipment, and processes.

Write, revise, and standardise Workshop Work Instructions (WWIs) to ensure safe and compliant operations.
*
Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to strengthen safety performance, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
*
Manage the scrapping, disposal, and removal of obsolete or non-compliant materials in accordance with EH&S and company requirements.
*
Implement corrective and preventive actions arising from EH&S audits, inspections, and review processes.
*
Work collaboratively with workshop staff to ensure procedures are practical, understood, and consistently applied.
*
Assist with compiling documentation, evidence, and reports required for internal and external audits.
*
Maintain accurate records and contribute to routine EH&S reporting and tracking.
*
Support improvements to workshop layout, organisation, and setup, ensuring changes follow the approved management-of-change process.
*
Ensure compliance with all relevant UK Regulations and company EHSQ policies, standards, and procedures.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
*
Proven experience in EH&S, workshop operations, or producing technical documentation.
*
Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, safety standards, and practical workshop hazards.
*
Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
*
Competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to produce clear documentation and reports.
*
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritise effectively.
