Coba Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and forward‑thinking primary school in Northampton to recruit a Year 2 Class Teacher with Middle Leadership responsibility for a permanent role starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious practitioner ready to take the next step into leadership within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

The Role

Full class responsibility for a Year 2 class
Taking on a middle leadership role (such as Phase Lead or subject leadership – details dependent on experience)
Supporting the development of teaching and learning across KS1
Contributing to curriculum development and raising standards
Working closely with senior leaders and colleagues to drive school improvement
The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience desirable)
Either has existing middle leadership experience or is ready to step into a leadership role
Demonstrates strong classroom practice and effective behaviour management
Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to improving outcomes for pupils
