Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in Lower Key Stage 2? Milk Education is working with a supportive and welcoming primary school in Leeds seeking a Year 3 Teacher to join their team.

This is an exciting chance to inspire, motivate, and support pupils at a key stage in their educational journey — perfect for experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Role Details

Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:00

Start Date: Flexible Start

Contract: Initially week-by-week, with potential for a long-term or permanent role

Your Role & Responsibilities

Teach and guide a Year 3 class through a fun, engaging, and well-structured curriculum

Plan and deliver lessons that inspire progress and curiosity

Mark work and set appropriate home learning tasks

Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with SEND

Use positive behaviour management strategies

Uphold safeguarding, pastoral care, and school behaviour policies

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS

Experience or confidence teaching in Lower KS2 (Year 3 experience desirable)

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

A warm, proactive, and enthusiastic approach

Commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
