Year 4 Primary Teacher - Reading Start Date: January 2026 Contract Length: 2 terms (until August 2026) Quantum Scholars are currently working with a warm, supportive, and well-established Primary School in Reading as they seek an inspiring Year 4 Primary Teacher to join their team from January 2026. The school is known for its strong leadership, inclusive values, and dedication to providing a nurturing environment where both pupils and staff thrive. You will be joining a collaborative team who value creativity, professional growth, and high-quality teaching. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the Year 4/KS2 curriculum Use a variety of teaching strategies to support different learning styles and abilities Track, assess, and record pupil progress, ensuring all learners receive appropriate support and challenge Create a safe, stimulating, and positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on pupil progress Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and whole-school initiatives Contribute to the wider school community, including potential involvement in extracurricular activities or events Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Previous experience teaching within KS2 (Year 4 experience essential) Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents A proactive, reflective, and organised approach to teaching Right to Work in the UK - the school cannot offer sponsorship Early applications are strongly encouraged, as interviews will be scheduled imminently.
