Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Stockport. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting a challenging Year 5 class, starting as soon as possible.
The school are looking for a confident and resilient candidate who has previously worked in similar environments and can build strong relationships with pupils. The ideal applicant will be outgoing, proactive, and have a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
The ideal candidate will:
Have prior experience supporting KS2 pupils, ideally in challenging settings
Be resilient, adaptable, and able to use their initiative
Build positive relationships and support behaviour management strategies
Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to support learning effectively
Be committed, enthusiastic, and ready to make a difference every day
