1:1 EYFS Teaching Assistant (BSL) - Nursery
 Location: Central London
 Pay: £95 - £115 per day
 Start: ASAP
 Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Remedy Education are looking for a caring and skilled 1:1 Teaching Assistant with EYFS experience and British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or above to support a wonderful little boy in a Nursery setting. This is a full-time role starting immediately, working closely with a child who requires additional support with both physical and learning needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate, patient and committed TA who loves working in Early Years and is confident using BSL to support communication.

The role:

Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Nursery-aged child with physical and learning needs

Use BSL to support communication, interaction and understanding

Assist with personalised learning activities and play-based development

Support the child with routines, transitions and social interaction

Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCo and external professionals

Uphold safeguarding and create a safe, nurturing environment

The ideal candidate:

BSL Level 2 or above (essential)

EYFS or Nursery experience

Warm, patient and confident supporting children with additional needs

Able to follow support plans and adapt learning to the child's needs

A positive communicator who builds trust and consistency

Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS
