Job Description

Internal Applications Engineer – Worthing

We’re partnered with a global market leader in humidity control and water-based solutions, delivering high-end projects across commercial, industrial and specialist environments. The business is continuing to grow and strengthen its technical team, and is now looking to appoint an Internal Applications Engineer to support project delivery from enquiry through to completion.

Operating across technically demanding environments, the business has been involved in a number of high-profile projects including Buckingham Palace, the White House and large-scale pharmaceutical facilities, delivering engineered solutions where humidity control is critical.

This position sits within the technical team and has been created as part of a wider move to bring more design, application and technical responsibility in-house.

Key Responsibilities – Internal Applications Engineer

• Reviewing project requirements and preparing technical submissions
• Producing quotations and selecting appropriate systems based on application
• Supporting internal teams and customers with technical queries
• Involvement in system design across humidification, dehumidification and related HVAC applications
• Liaising with the external sales team to support project delivery
• Working across a range of projects, from smaller systems through to larger commercial and industrial schemes
• Occasional involvement in site visits or customer meetings where required

Ideal Candidate

You’ll come from a mechanical, HVAC or refrigeration background with an understanding of how systems are applied within projects. Experience within humidification, dehumidification or related systems would be highly beneficial.

• Experience within applications, design, technical support or quotations
• Understanding of HVAC, humidity control or related mechanical systems
• Comfortable working from technical information and producing accurate submissions
• Able to communicate clearly with internal teams and customers
• Looking to develop within a technical environment rather than a sales-led role

Package

• Salary up to £50,000 (DOE) + benefits
