Our client, a reputable prestige main dealer in Portsmouth, Hampshire, is currently looking to appoint a highly motivated Car Sales Executive. This is an excellent Car Sales Executive opportunity for skilled automotive sales professionals to join a well-established dealership group known for its exceptional customer service and extensive vehicle selection.
As a Car Sales Executive, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences whilst achieving and exceeding sales targets. The dealership boasts a diverse range of both electric and internal combustion engine vehicles, representing one of the most recognised prestige brands in the industry.
Benefits:
Basic salary of up to £25,000 with on-target earnings of approximately £55,000 plus uncapped commission
Company car included
Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-18:00, with a regular day off in the week
Saturday shifts on a 1 in 2 rota, 08:30-17:00
Sunday shifts on a 1 in 2 rota, 10:00-16:00
30 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, plus a day off for your birthday

Meet and exceed monthly and annual vehicle sales targets and associated product sales
Maximise profitability through effective upselling of vehicle finance, warranty, and accessory packages
Deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
Understand and promote the full range of vehicle features, accessories, and aftersales products
Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining comprehensive product knowledge
Manage customer relationships and follow up prospects to generate future sales opportunities
Maintain professional standards of compliance and adhere to dealership policies
Support the dealership’s reputation by providing honest advice and tailored vehicle solutionsRequirements of the Car Sales Executive:
Proven experience in automotive sales, preferably within a franchise dealership
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting targets
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Organised, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Valid UK driving licence and the right to work within the UK
Proactive attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth
