Job Description

CCTV Security Officer (Relief)
Location: The Grange Park, Cheltenham, GL52
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract Type: Relief / 0-hour contract
Shift Pattern: Relief / Standby
Shift Times:
  * 07:00 – 19:00
  * 19:00 – 07:00
Days/Nights: Both available
Free parking is available on site.
We are currently recruiting 2 SIA Licensed CCTV Security Officers for a corporate site based at in Cheltenham. This is a relief role covering both day and night shifts when required.
Key Responsibilities
  * Locking and unlocking the main reception doors
  * Monitoring CCTV cameras and identifying any suspicious or unauthorised activity
  * Completing internal patrols of the building and checking doors are secure
  * Maintaining and updating the site logbook
  * Reporting all incidents and updates to the Building Manager and Line Manager via Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) and email
  * Managing the key box system and issuing authorised keys to contractors with approval from the Site Manager or tenant
  * Recording all key movements accurately
  * Operating barrier control when required
Requirements
  * Valid SIA CCTV Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence also accepted)
  * Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  * Must be comfortable working lone shifts
  * Must be confident using Excel, Word, emails, and mobile apps
  * Must be physically fit and able to walk stairs and patrol the building
  * Must have reliable transport to ensure punctual arrival to site
  * Must arrive 15 minutes before shift start time
