Early Years Teaching Assistant | Waltham Forest | Flexible Daily Supply | £82.14-£100 per day | ASAP Start

Reeson Education is looking for warm, reliable and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to join our flexible supply pool supporting nurseries and primary school EYFS settings across Waltham Forest. This is a great opportunity for an Early Years Teaching Assistant who wants to work flexibly while gaining strong experience across a range of early years environments.

Schools and nurseries in Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone and Chingford frequently request Early Years Teaching Assistants to support children aged 2-5 with early learning, communication skills, social development, sensory play and early phonics. As a supply Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will experience a variety of settings while ensuring young learners receive consistent, nurturing support.

Early Years Teaching Assistant - Key Information

Rate: £82.14-£100 per day

Start: ASAP

Working Pattern: Flexible daily supply

Location: Waltham Forest

Contract: Term-time only

Early Years Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities

Supporting EYFS children through structured and play-based learning

Assisting with early phonics, early maths and communication development

Helping children develop independence, confidence and positive social skills

Maintaining a safe and engaging EYFS environment

Adapting quickly to different schools, classrooms and routines

Providing SEN support where needed, including autism, speech delays or social communication needs

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant or EYFS support

Understanding of EYFS frameworks and developmental stages

A warm, patient and child-centred approach

Flexibility for short-notice bookings across Waltham Forest

Good communication and teamwork skills
