Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum  
Gravesend
Full time | Permanent |Onsite - Monday to Friday.

Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.

We are currently recruiting for a Electrical Estimator to join their team.

The main purpose of this Electrical Estimator role is to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project documentation using estimating software.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £43,000 P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent and will be based on site at the Gravesend office Monday to Friday 

Reporting to the Head of Electrical your responsibilities will include:

Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project documentation using estimating software.
Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and the Purchasing Manager to gather and verify information for estimates.
Reviewing and evaluating subcontractor bids and proposals for competitiveness and compliance.
Monitoring project costs and providing updates and recommendations for cost control.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships and following up on tenders to help strengthen existing partnerships.

The ideal candidate:

Qualified Gold Card electrician (preferable)
3+ years’ experience in estimating within the electrical sector
Experience with an electrical estimating system 
Confident communicator – comfortable speaking with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and highly organised
Positive attitude with the desire to grow and progress within a long-standing business
