Electrical Project Manager (Fit-Out)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-out projects.

Our client is a UK-based building services contractor specialising in full-service mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) solutions. They provide design, installation, and maintenance services across commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of electrical packages across multiple fit-out projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, and within budget.

Key duties include:

  * 

    Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover

  * 

    Overseeing installation of electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarms, and data cabling

  * 

    Coordinating with main contractors, consultants, and wider MEP teams

  * 

    Managing site teams and subcontractors to ensure quality delivery

  * 

    Monitoring project costs, variations, and procurement

  * 

    Ensuring compliance with UK regulations and health & safety standards

  * 

    Leading testing, commissioning, and final client handover

About You

We are looking to speak with candidates who:

  * 

    Have strong experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial fit-out

  * 

    Are confident delivering fast-track CAT A / CAT B projects

  * 

    Possess excellent organisational and communication skills

  * 

    Are commercially aware and able to manage multiple projects

Requirements

  * 

    Electrical qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)

  * 

    SMSTS

  * 

    ECS/CSCS card

  * 

    Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and UK building regulations
