About the role:
We are currently supporting a secondary school in the Warrington area who are seeking a passionate English Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator looking for a new opportunity or an ECT looking to make a positive contribution in a supportive department.
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a positive and inclusive learning environment to support the development of all pupils, whilst delivering all aspects of the KS3 and 4 English national curriculum. The right candidate should be able to deliver effective behaviour management in line with the school policy and work to develop positive and trusting relationships with pupils. You should be able to integrate efficiently into a new school and quickly settle into and contribute to both the faculty and the wider school community.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver the English national curriculum at both KS3 and 4
* Support pupils with SEND appropriately in line with IEP/EHCPs
* Promote positive behaviour
* Assist with faculty duties as required
* Adhere to school policies and procedures
Essential requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Right to work in the UK
* Experience working within a UK Secondary School setting
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to deliver age-appropriate and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
* Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one
