TeacherActive are excited to be working with a a number of local secondary schools based in and around the Exeter area that are looking for English Teachers 

The schools are looking for motivated English Teacher's for a full time role that has potential to become permanent. The successful applicant will work across both Key stage 3/ KS3 and Key stage 4 / KS4. 

One school is looking to cover maternity leave for a year from May 2026 - May 2027.

Another School is looking for an English teacher to also start in May - this is a permanent role.

I also have roles from September in a few schools that are also looking to appoint in their English department! 

What I am looking for:

QTS with English specialism
Experience teaching up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
Excellent classroom management and adaptability
