EYFS Teacher - Full-Time Permanent Role (September 2026) Location: Derby City Centre Pay: MPS/UPS (Paid to Scale) Contract: Full-time, permanent Start Date: September 2026 Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming primary school in Derby City Centre to appoint a confident and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive early years team and play a key role in shaping children's first experiences of education. This role suits both experienced EYFS teachers and ECTs who are passionate about early development and learning through play. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons in line with the curriculum Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment Adapt learning activities to meet a range of developmental needs Track and assess pupil progress, sharing updates with staff and parents Support early phonics and communication development Work closely with teaching assistants and wider staffRequirements: Qualified Teacher Status (EYTS) Experience within EYFS Strong understanding of early years development and phonics Positive behaviour management and communication skills Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)Why Apply?
