EYFS Teacher - Full-Time Permanent Role (September 2026)

Location: Derby City Centre
 Pay: MPS/UPS (Paid to Scale)
 Contract: Full-time, permanent
 Start Date: September 2026

Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming primary school in Derby City Centre to appoint a confident and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive early years team and play a key role in shaping children's first experiences of education.

This role suits both experienced EYFS teachers and ECTs who are passionate about early development and learning through play.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons in line with the curriculum
Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
Adapt learning activities to meet a range of developmental needs
Track and assess pupil progress, sharing updates with staff and parents
Support early phonics and communication development
Work closely with teaching assistants and wider staffRequirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (EYTS)
Experience within EYFS 
Strong understanding of early years development and phonics
Positive behaviour management and communication skills
