Job Description

Morgan McKinley Northern Home Counties is partnering with a growing international organisation based in Daventry to find an experienced Financial Accountant to join their dynamic Finance team on a permanent basis.

Role

In this position, you will work closely within the Finance team to own balance sheet reconciliations, support month-end processes, and ensure compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and review balance sheet reconciliations
Support internal and external audits
Perform bank reconciliations and cashflow matching (Kyriba)
Complete intercompany cash-pooling reconciliations and invoice processing
Oversee month-end activities in Oracle and prepare key journals
Manage Concur expense reviews and liaise with internal teams
Provide cover for Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable as required
Support VAT returns, corporate tax tasks, and inventory counts
Monitor and reconcile suspense accountsIdeal Candidate Profile:

Qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
Confident with reconciliations, month-end close, and financial compliance
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Experience with Oracle EBS, Excel, Kyriba, or cash pooling is advantageousSalary & Benefits:

Up to £40,000 per year, 5 days a week in the office
