Job Description

Financial Reporting Manager
12 Month FTC
Bristol City Centre
Hybrid. 1-2 days in the office.

We're looking for an experienced finance leader to manage a high-performing team delivering accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting. You'll provide insights, ensure compliance, and report to senior stakeholders including the Board, Audit Committee, and regulators.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and manage the reporting team, driving performance and engagement
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and regulatory reporting
Ensure compliance with IFRS 4, HGB, UK GAAP, and Solvency UK/II requirements
Deliver analysis of results against plan and forecast, addressing key queries
Maintain strong risk management and control frameworks
Respond to regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance
Build effective relationships across Finance, Actuarial, and external stakeholders
Support capital modelling and related reporting

About You

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with significant post-qualified experience
Background in financial services, ideally insurance.
Strong leadership and team management skills
In-depth knowledge of regulatory and accounting frameworks
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proactive, detail-focused, and confident challenging the status quo
