Job Overview
To ensure that all customer letters are transferred, processed, and mailed in an accurate and efficient manner in line with client SLAs. This role involves contributing to processing improvement and maintaining high standards of quality and customer confidential in line with GDPR regulations.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 5pm or 08:00am – 4:30pm
Your main duties would include:
* Ensure strict adherence to GDPR regulations throughout the department, promoting awareness and ensuring that all staff members comply with data protection laws.
* Demonstrate a thorough understanding and implementation of company policies concerning system, data, and physical security to protect customer information.
* Always deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that the quality of service meets or exceeds client expectations.
* Prioritize tasks efficiently, managing incoming requests and ensuring that workload is balanced for optimal processing.
* Provide timely updates on performance, including any issues or obstacles that may prevent meeting daily targets, and escalate as necessary.
* Prepare items for fulfilment in the most efficient and organized manner, ensuring readiness for timely dispatch.
* Perform hand finishing tasks as required, ensuring the final product meets quality standards.
* Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required to maintain a safe working environment.
* Pack items according to customer specifications, ensuring the correct number of packages, and labelling each package accurately with the required details.
* Choose the appropriate courier service for each customer, based on their specific requirements.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that the environment is safe and conducive to efficient work
Skills and Attributes we are looking for:
* Previous proven experience working as part of a team as well as working on own initiative to reach goals
* Previous experience working within a similar environment
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Use of information technology such as Microsoft, Excel, Explorer, and office products
* Problem solving skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
* Must be flexible with the ability to multi-task
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm
* Have good attention to detail, being thorough and analytical
* Good understanding of the warehouse environment
