Graduate Teaching Assistant
Secondary School – London Borough of Haringey
Long-Term Contract Until July 2027 | £15–£17 per hour

A thriving secondary school in the London Borough of Haringey is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis until July 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, youth workers, psychologists, or anyone passionate about supporting young people in their academic and personal development.

💼 Role Responsibilities

  * 

    Support students across KS3–KS4 in a range of subjects, both in class and during small-group interventions.

  * 

    Work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to deliver tailored support to students with additional needs.

  * 

    Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

  * 

    Provide 1:1 support to students who require extra guidance.

  * 

    Assist with lesson preparation, behaviour management, and general classroom duties.

  * 

    Contribute to the wider school community, supporting activities, mentoring, and enrichment programmes.

📌 Requirements

  * 

    Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential).

  * 

    A recent graduate (any subject considered).

  * 

    Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.

  * 

    A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.

  * 

    Previous experience working with children or young adults is desirable but not essential.

💰 Pay

£15–£17 per hour, depending on experience.

📅 Contract

Long-term position until July 2027
