About the Role
As a Housing Officer, you will work within a generic housing team responsible for delivering a wide range of tenancy and estate management services. Your duties will include:
* Managing income and arrears collection
* Responding to and resolving anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues
* Conducting tenancy audits
* Supporting tenants experiencing hoarding
* Working collaboratively with key partners including police, mental health services, adult social care, and others
* Handling general tenancy management enquiries
* Providing phone cover as required
This role involves a mix of office duties and on‑patch responsibilities, so applicants must be comfortable working independently within the community.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Housing Officer is essential
* Strong understanding of tenancy and estate management
* Excellent communication and partnership‑working skills
