 RGB Recruitment Ltd are pleased to be supporting a well established Mechanical & Electrical engineering business who are actively looking for a Junior Electrical Estimator to join their team in Exeter. They have a strong track record and a people-first culture.

 About the Company
 This company has been operating for over 30 years, delivering high-quality building services (mechanical and electrical) across a wide variety of sectors including industrial, commercial and retail with offices in Bristol and Exeter. Their work spans installation, design, maintenance, and energy-efficiency/decarbonisation projects. 

 The Role
 As a Junior Electrical Estimator, you will:

Work alongside the Regional Estimating Manager, learning the full estimating process.
Produce accurate quotations from technical drawings and specifications.
Support bid preparation, cost analysis, and review of electrical designs.
Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather pricing and ensure feasibility.
Help to develop estimating tools, maintain databases, and improve cost-estimating methodology.
Who We’re Looking For
 Ideally, you will have:

Site-based experience (ideally working as a qualified electrician).
A technical understanding of electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, possibly low-voltage M&E systems).
A willingness to move off site and into an office role.
Good numeracy, attention to detail, and strong IT skills.
A proactive approach and strong communication skills.
