KS2 Class Teacher (Full-Time, Temporary)

Contract: Full-time, temporary (until the end of the academic year)
A friendly and supportive junior school in Salisbury is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join their team following the Easter break.
This is a full-time, temporary role initially running until May half-term, with the potential to be extended through to the end of the academic year for the right candidate.
The Role:
Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment
Delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
Managing a class of average size, including supporting pupils who may display some challenging behaviour
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other classroom support staff
Making a positive contribution to the wider school community
Planning and marking are required; salary will be paid to scale
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
Be adaptable, confident, and committed to supporting pupil progress
Work effectively as part of a team, liaising with colleagues and senior leaders
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Be able to provide recent, reliable references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
