KS2 Teacher - Primary School (PPA Cover)

Location: Leyland

Start Date: After Easter
 Contract Type: Temporary - Part Time (3 Days per Week)
 Working Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
 Duration: At least one half term
 Pay: £140-£240 per day (dependent on experience)

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a supportive primary school in Leyland who are seeking a flexible and experienced KS2 Teacher to provide class cover and PPA release on a part-time basis (3 days per week).

This role will involve covering lessons across Key Stage 2, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards within the classroom.

The Role:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS2 classes.
Provide PPA cover and class cover as required.
Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
Adapt teaching to suit different classes and abilities.
Work collaboratively with staff to ensure smooth day-to-day running.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
Strong classroom management and adaptability.
Flexible and professional approach to teaching.
Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff.
