 Permanent – 12-hour Continental Shifts

About the Role

You’ll join the production department as a Conversion/Slitter Machine Operator, responsible for setting and running machinery that slits, punches and perforates a range of plastic film products.

Key duties include:

Setting and operating conversion/slitting machinery in line with customer specifications
Carrying out macro punch and micro perforation work
Maintaining quality throughout the production run, including regular sample checks
Working to lean manufacturing processes to maximise machine uptime
Bagging, labelling and palletising finished reels
Using a line-side computer system to follow production schedules
Completing daily production reports, including weights and meterage
Maintaining a clean, safe working environment at all times
 Skills & Experience

Experience within a manufacturing or production environment as a machine operator / setter (ideal but not essential)
Ability to follow technical instructions and customer specifications
Reliable, proactive, and able to work safely to site procedures
Comfortable with physical aspects of the role (lifting, bending, moving materials)
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Able to work on the below shift pattern.Shift Pattern (4-week Continental)

Week 1: 4 nights, 3 off
Week 2: 3 days, 1 off, 3 nights
Week 3: 3 off, 4 days
