Job Description

First Team Physiotherapist - National League

I'm recruiting on behalf of FCHT - Halifax Town Football Club who is seeking a First Team Physiotherapist to deliver elite physiotherapy services to their players. You will lead injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation programs, ensuring optimal player performance and availability throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities

  * Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for First Team players.

  * Design and implement individualised rehab and return-to-play programs.

  * Deliver pitch-side physiotherapy and emergency care on matchdays.

  * Collaborate with coaching and sports science staff on injury prevention strategies.

  * Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with FA/EFL regulations.

Essential Requirements

  * BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy/ Sports Therapy (HCPC / CSP, SST, BASRAT registered).

  * Must have FA ATMMiF qualification or equivalent (PHICIS L3/ IMMOFP)

  * Minimum 2 years’ experience at professional level (National League or above).

  * Strong MSK injury management skills.

  * Full UK driving licence and DBS clearance.

Desirable

  * Experience managing a medical team.

  * Knowledge of FA anti-doping regulations.

  * Advanced manual therapy and sports massage skills
