Position: Personal Care Assistant

Location: Sale

Pay: £95-£105 per day, depending on experience

Start Date: 06/01/2026

Are you a kind and compassionate individual, with a background in personal care, looking for a new role? We are currently seeking personal care assistants to join a large SEN provision in Sale. 

The school is a large provision that supports pupils aged between 11-19 with complex needs. As a personal care assistant,you will be required to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups. 

Your Role as a Personal Care Assistant:

Supporting children with challenging behaviours and SEN in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
Building positive relationships with class teachers to monitor progress and implement strategies
Providing personal careIdeal Candidate for Personal Care Assistant Position:

Previous experience supporting complex needs in an education or care setting
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Team Teach training is highly desired

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
