Job Description

Primary PPA cover –Southampton
Pay –£130 - £150
Hours - 8am – 3.30PM Temporary – Summer Term 2026
Start – ASAP

Your role as a Primary Cover Supervisor would be filling a termly position in a school needing across school PPA cover. You would not be planning, assessing or attending staff meetings but would be expected to mark children’s work and ensure consistency within the classroom , ensuring that pupils receive a consistently high standard of education. You will need excellent classroom management skills and a thorough knowledge of the current National Curriculum. You will encourage positive pupil development and monitor pupil’s progression.

What you’ll need to succeed
• Experience teaching throughout Primary schools
