Project Manager Wastewater Infrastructure

Hybrid | Midlands (Office & Site-Based)

Occasional UK Travel

Full-Time | Development Opportunity

Lead the way in engineering excellence.

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager with a mechanical engineering background to deliver wastewater infrastructure projects. If you thrive on responsibility, enjoy problem-solving, and want to make a real impact, this is your chance.

Role Responsibilities:

  * Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of wastewater projects from inception to completion.

  * Manage site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

  * Oversee temporary works design and implementation.

  * Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 Regulations, acting as Principal Contractor or Designer.

  * Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  * Monitor budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance.

  * Prepare RAMS, programmes, progress reports, and handover packs.

  * Provide technical input on pumps, pipework, valves, and treatment equipment.

  * Mentor site teams and promote a culture of safety and quality.

What Were Looking For

  * Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).

  * Proven project management experience in wastewater or water treatment.

  * Strong knowledge of temporary works, CDM regulations, and site management.

  * Commercially astute with experience in budgets, contracts, and procurement.

  * Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  * CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification.

  * Full UK driving licence.
