We are delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation in their search for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of diverse projects spanning from small, short-term work to large, complex, multi-year programmes.
You’ll be responsible for leading projects throughout their entire lifecycle, acting as the central link between internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage multiple projects end-to-end, ensuring successful delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Act as the main point of coordination, liaising with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with customers, engineering, design and manufacturing teams to maintain clear communication and visibility of project status.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project demands.
• Deliver projects on time, on budget and to agreed quality standards.
• Apply best-practice project management methods, considering technical, logistical and commercial factors.
• Anticipate challenges, identify solutions and implement agreed actions.
• Produce and maintain all technical documentation, including project plans, Gantt charts, trackers and management reports.
• Support continuous improvement across internal processes.
• Assist with other projects where required.
Skills & Experience Required
• Proven Project Management experience is essential.
• Strong ability to motivate and guide project support teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to negotiate at all levels.
• High competence in engineering-led projects or similar technical environments.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and work within a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a similar or related industry, with exposure to technical project delivery.
• Willingness to occasionally work outside standard hours to meet project demands.
• A formal Project Management qualification (PMI, PRINCE2 or similar) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass DBS and BPSS security checks.
