Job Description

My name is Niamh, and I am the Recruitment Resourcer in the Essex office. I work closely with schools in Chelmsford and the surrounding areas, supporting them with all aspects of their recruitment. I am currently supporting a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Chelmsford that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Qualified Teacher to join their team.

This Primary Teacher role offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire and motivate pupils during a crucial stage of their academic journey. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and ensuring all pupils are supported to reach their full potential. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote both academic achievement and emotional wellbeing.

The school is seeking a passionate and committed Primary Teacher who can demonstrate strong classroom management skills, creativity in lesson delivery, and a genuine commitment to raising standards. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are eager to develop within a supportive school environment. Full support will be provided by both the school and TeacherActive to ensure your continued professional growth and success.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within a primary setting

Strong knowledge of the primary national curriculum

Excellent classroom management skills

The ability to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons

A positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude

An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
