Job Description

Role: SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - September Start
Pay: £100.00-£110.00 per day
Location- Epping, Essex
 
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school environment from September. This rewarding role involves working 1:1 with a student with ASD, providing tailored support to help them access learning and thrive in the classroom.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent 1:1 support for a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Assist with classroom activities, adapting resources to meet individual needs
Support the student's social, emotional, and behavioural development
Assist with personal care where required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategiesRequirements:

Recent, relevant experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD (essential)
A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Up-to-date safeguarding training (essential)
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skillsWhat We Offer:
