Senior Support Worker – Supported Living (Guildford)

Ages: 16-21 (Ofsted)
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 per year

We’re looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our supported accommodation service in Guildford. This is a warm, people-focused environment where compassion and teamwork really matter. You’ll be supporting adults to build confidence, develop life skills, and take positive steps forward—while also playing a key role in guiding and supporting the wider team.

What you’ll be doing:

  * 

    Providing day-to-day support to residents, tailored to individual needs and goals

  * 

    Supporting people with daily living skills, wellbeing, appointments, and community activities

  * 

    Leading, mentoring, and supporting Support Workers on shift

  * 

    Ensuring care plans, risk assessments, and documentation are up to date and followed

  * 

    Helping maintain a safe, positive, and empowering home environment

  * 

    Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and external services

  * 

    Taking part in rota duties, including occasional weekends or evenings

What we’re looking for:

    Experience in a support worker role (supported living or similar)

  * 

    Someone confident, caring, patient, and approachable

  * 

    Ability to lead by example and support the team

  * 

    Strong communication and organisational skills

  * 

    A genuine passion for helping people live the life they choose
