Job Description

Our client, a well-established independent family-run franchise-approved car dealership in Northeast Bristol, is looking to recruit a Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Service Advisor seeking to progress their career within a reputable business.

Excellent long-term career prospectsDuties as a Service Advisor:

Act as the front line in the Service Department, greeting customers and booking their vehicles into the workshop as a Service Advisor
Advise customers on minor technical issues, and recommend additional services or products where appropriate
Coordinate with the workshop team to chase work and provide customers with regular updates on vehicle progress
Maintain high standards of customer communication, ensuring a first-class service experience
Handle payments accurately and process all relevant documentation
Upsell additional services to meet sales targets while prioritising customer satisfaction
Ensure knowledge of automotive warranty procedures is maintained; liaising with manufacturers when necessary (desirable but not essential)Requirements:

One to two years of experience in a Service Advisor position or similar within the motor trade
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational abilities and IT literacy
Passion for the automotive industry and delivering excellent customer service
Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures is advantageous
