Sustainability Consultant – Manchester

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join a leading environmental and compliance consultancy based in Manchester. 🔍 The Role

As a Sustainability Consultant, you will:

  * 

    Develop and deliver sustainability strategies for construction, infrastructure, and corporate projects

  * 

    Lead environmental and wellbeing assessments (BREEAM, WELL, HQM, LEED) from design through to completion

  * 

    Conduct carbon assessments (embodied and whole life) and advise on reduction strategies

  * 

    Support clients with energy performance modelling, circular economy consultancy, and compliance reporting

  * 

    Produce clear reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders

  * 

    Collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines to deliver integrated solutions

👤 Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone with:

  * 

    A relevant degree (Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related discipline)

  * 

    Experience in sustainability consultancy, ideally with BREEAM, WELL, or LEED accreditation

  * 

    Knowledge of carbon assessment tools (e.g., OneClickLCA) and energy modelling software

  * 

    Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients and design teams

  * 

    A proactive, collaborative mindset with a genuine passion for sustainability
