About the Role
Coba Education is seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to work across a range of secondary schools throughout Northamptonshire. This role offers flexible opportunities including temporary placements of varying lengths, from day-to-day cover to longer-term assignments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys inspiring students through music, encouraging creativity, performance, and musical understanding. You will deliver engaging lessons that help students build confidence in both practical and theoretical aspects of music.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Encourage student participation in performance, composition, and listening activities.
Support the development of students’ musical knowledge, creativity, and confidence.
Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Follow school policies and maintain effective classroom management.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Music at secondary level.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for music education and student engagement.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
