Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Trafford
 Start Date: ASAP
 Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester
 Salary: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an enthusiastic and supportive individual looking to make a real difference in the classroom? Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Trafford, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

The Role

This rewarding position will see you supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. You will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, promote positive behaviour, and help to create a nurturing learning environment where every pupil can thrive.

Your duties will include:

Providing tailored support to students with additional learning needs

Assisting in the preparation of classroom materials and resources

Encouraging student participation and fostering confidence and independence

Working collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure all pupils make good progress

Supporting with assessments, record keeping and classroom management

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about supporting young people and helping them to reach their full potential

Reliable, proactive, and adaptable in a busy school setting

Able to build positive relationships with students and staff alike

Experienced in working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)

Qualified to at least Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or with relevant transferable experience
