Teaching Support | Specialist SEN School | High Wycombe

A specialist provision in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire seeks a compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs.

The school provides a structured and therapeutic environment where students receive personalised support to aid their development, both academically and socially.

The provision works with Special Educational Needs, such as:

Autism Spectrum Condition
Moderate learning difficulties
Communication and interaction challenges
Social, emotional and mental health needs
Sensory processing differences 

Responsibilities:

Support students during lessons and learning activities
Deliver small-group or individual support
Assist teachers with adapted resources
Encourage independence and confidence
Help maintain a positive classroom environment 

Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting SEN pupils
Experience working with young people 
Patient, supportive and adaptable approach
Passion in education or specialist support roles 

Full training is provided to new educators - with both part-time and full-time positions are available.
