Technical Sales Engineer – Steel Fabrication
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE

 We’re looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to join a growing steel fabrication business in Mansfield.
 This position is 70% sales and 30% technical, ideal for someone with a background in steel fabrication who’s passionate about business development, relationship building, and achieving sales targets.

 Key Responsibilities:  
Identify, approach and secure new business opportunities within the steel fabrication and engineering sectors. 
Build and maintain strong, long-term B2B client relationships. 
Prepare accurate quotes and proposals, ensuring customer requirements are met. 
Work closely with internal draughting and fabrication teams to ensure successful project delivery. 
Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement and account management. 
Conduct occasional site visits to assess project feasibility and specifications.  About You:  
Proven sales experience with a track record of winning and growing business. 
Confident in identifying and approaching new customers across multiple sectors. 
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused mindset. 
Knowledge of steel fabrication or related engineering/manufacturing processes. 
Self-motivated, ambitious and driven to deliver results.
