Trainee Recruitment Consultant

£23 -25,000 -basic salary

Commission scheme on top of basic (£6-9k in year 1)

About the role:

We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic, professional, and personable individual to join our client’s team as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant.

You will focus on working with employers and candidates in the construction industry, it’s permanent, high level recruitment of qualified engineers and surveyors. You will deal with clients once you are fully trained and confident in your knowledge. Someone who is outgoing and friendly loves working face to face with people would be ideal!

Training:

You will embark on an extensive 12 weeks training program, which cover all elements of recruitment, marketing, negotiations, attracting talent, interviewing candidates and creating detailed job briefs.

Upon completing the training you will be given more responsibilities, however you are carefully guided by your Manager for at least the first 12 months to ensure success. You will have regular review meetings to keep you on track with your development professionally, but also personally.

What you will be doing:

Building trusted connections through client and candidate relationships

Talent planning to attract new candidates which mirrors the ever-changing customer demand profiles

Building a strong understanding of your target market

Negotiating, persuading and influencing in order to achieve the best outcome

Working towards set targets and KPI’s with the aim to exceed expectations

Rewards:

After successfully learning your trainee role, you will progress to a full recruitment consultant and after 2/3 years experience we would expect you be earning around £53k per annum which will include a solid basic salary £35k and commission of £18k a year.
