Contract Type: Part-time

Exclusive Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Huyton on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is ready to make an immediate impact in a Key Stage 1 setting.

The role is ideal for someone who is confident leading a classroom and passionate about supporting pupils in their early stages of learning. You will be working in a friendly, inclusive school environment that values creativity, commitment, and high-quality teaching.

To be considered for this Year 1 Teacher role, you must:
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., BA Hons with QTS)
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Have experience working with children, ideally within Key Stage 1 (school placements included)
• Be able to provide two references covering the last two years, ideally from placements or child-related settings
• Hold a current DBS registered to the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one

Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Foster a positive learning environment through effective behaviour management
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback where appropriate
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
• Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment
