Year 2 Teaching Assistant - Northampton

September Start | Full-Time | Up to £105 per day PAYE

We are working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Northampton that is dedicated to providing a positive, engaging environment where children are supported to grow in confidence and achieve their potential. The school has a strong focus on high-quality learning, positive relationships and creating a classroom environment where every pupil can thrive.

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join the school from September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with younger children and is passionate about supporting their learning and development.

The Role

Provide classroom support to pupils in Year 2
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities
Support individual pupils and small groups where required
Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence
Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and activities
Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
Experience supporting pupils at primary level is desirable
A patient, caring and encouraging approach
Confident working with both individuals and small groups
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passionate about helping children develop academically and personally
